As soon as I dropped that piece, I remembered why I didn't want to make that move. So disappointed in myself right now.

I've been moving to a new place this past week and I just had the Internet turned back on. I'm back now, so game on! MOOOOORADIIIIIIIIIIIIN!!!!!! Oh, and welcome back The Lord of the Rings comment is half-lost on me. I'm actually not a big Tolkien fan. I never made it through the entire LotR trilogy. I've only seen the movies. >_> I know, I know. I have no right to call myself a fan of Fantasy but the man's writing just does not appeal to me. I've even tried multiple times to pick up the books once more and read through the set but I just can't seem to do it. I did, however really enjoy The Hobbit. It was a lot of fun to read and I've actually read it multiple times. Beorn is my favorite character in The Hobbit. But... thank you!

Tolkien's style is not for everyone, that's for sure. I've read the LotR trilogy and the Hobbit, but only one time each.
There are definitely parts that it was tough to slog through, mostly in LotR. But I did enjoy them and was glad I read them. That's just me, though.

It was a lot of fun to read and I've actually read it multiple times. Radagast is my favorite character in The Hobbit. But... thank you! I made it about a hundred pages into The Lord of the Rings and my patience was done. I've read and enjoyed slow burner books with only a thread of plot and thick prose, but it was just too much. The moment Tom Bombadil showed up I shut the book for good.

There was a Lord of the Rings comment there? Nah actually, it was a reference to Halfling's Gem I think. When Bruenor runs Alustriel's chariot into the pirate ship. It's only yelled once through the whole series, so I don't blame him for being confused Hahahahaha. Yeah Sargai, that's how it goes with me and strategy. I'll have him on the precipice, and then somehow lose.

I fully expect an orc to respond to hearing a dwarf god's name with something along the lines of, "Moradin? Is that some kind of Lord of the Rings crap?"
