It has been my experience when reading that there's always one character that you just sort of click with.
For me there is two.
Artemis entreri struck a cord with me. When I was young I was forced to grow up fast. I did the wrong thing on purpose just to let everyone know who I was and that wasn't going to take it anymore. I made enemies for no better reason than to have opponents... Eventually I took a chance let people in (with devastating results) and then after years of being broken and betrayed and wanting nothing more than to simply cease to be, I found something that gave a reason to question myself and what I truly wanted. And hey, I'm still cynical, but at least now I can laugh about it.
Robillard... Where do I even begin on that dastardly cad...
Sarcastic, calm, quick witted and well learned... also a raging pessimist who has seen enough dark crud in the world to know pessimism is more practicality than just a poor outlook... I could do a ridiculous write up on him but why bore you all to tears, eh?

You remember that fussy dwarf who flies into rage if someone messes up his look? Yeah, that guy. He's such a minor character that I can't remember his name, but he appears a couple times throughout the series.

Not really sure who I could really relate to in the books, quite a number of characters but not in a huge way so far... hmm, maybe once I've read the rest of the books and gained a broader view, I can find one I really relate too

You're thinking of Fredegar Rockcrusher, Sargai. And I'd have to say that I relate the most to Zak and how he feels trapped by the circumstances of his life, lost in a sort of hopeless maze. I can also relate to his cowardice (yes, I'm calling Zak a coward) as he is too afraid to take action against these circumstances in order to change his situation. And then there is Regis. The halfling is so self-conscious and afraid of failure that he pretends not to take anything seriously; instead reflecting serious situations with humor. At the risk of it being taken the wrong way, I honestly wish I could be more like Obould. The orc king was a capable leader and confident in the righteousness of his cause.

I've been thinking about it for a while...and I don't really feel like I really identify with anyone. But if I had to choose, I'd say Bruenor. I'm not saying I'm a famous king (far from it). I think it's more the loyalty and willingness to fight, or even die, for loved ones and friends. I'll come out swinging first before asking questions. Even though I've gotten between a few drunk strangers fighting in bars to stop them, I'll be the first one to throw a punch if someone messes with my friends or family.
Sure Drizzt is a bit similar, but he's too...soft? Maybe not the right word, but you know what I mean...

I don't feel I honestly need to answer this. See my avatar picture. I have typically have a short temper with almost everyone and I'm prone to flying into rages when something frustrates me (Typically video games). No, seriously. It's what Scottish/Irish/German descent does to you.
Other than that, probably Jarlaxle. I'm always looking to make a profit from just about every situation.

That's a good question. At different times in my life, I've been a little bit Regis and little bit Wulfgar, so I could probably relate to them quite well.

When I first started reading the books, Drizzt and I seemed to have the most in common, not the fighting prowess, but more the philosophical-in-tune-with-nature aspect. Now, I would say that I can relate more with Bruenor, not the ruling prowess, but more the stubborn pragmatical aspect.

For me, I think I always found things that I could use to relate to Drizzt, as I always looked up to Drizzt. I started reading the books when I was fairly young, so his sense of right and wrong and natural talent in nearly everything he did was a great inspiration to me. When life started changing and became something more than the black and white aspect of what I always knew as a kid, I related to his inner turmoil of a world that that can no longer be viewed in the old black and white standard.
I feel closer to Drizzt, but in all honesty, I probably relate to Regis the most. He is a character that started off with all motivations driven by his own selfishness. Everything was about himself, his safety, and his desire for riches. It was only when shown true friendship that he began seeing the world from a less selfish point of view. As time went on, being friends of those legendary people, he felt that he was the most useless of the group, and honestly I believe that he was for the most part. It wasn't until much later on when he got a purpose and a drive to actually put himself out there for his friends and now look at where he's at! I honestly idolize his actions, as he was given a second chance and had the nerve to change the errors of his past in an effor to be a better contributor of the group. I feel like I should probably relate to him more on a logical level... Although, relating to someone, many times, isn't always logical.
