I figure why not. I usually don't write fanfiction but it does happen on occasion. First up is Dark Twilight. It's an older creature that I started toying with around the time The Orc King came out. I wanted to focus mostly on the intrigue, and it has relatively little action (for my stories at least). I tried to keep it mainly about Hadrian and I think I managed for the most part. Hopefully it's enjoyable. Second is Bloodsteel. Two friends on the road of adventure. What's so odd about that? Well...one is an elf, the other is an orc. Shenanigans ensue. I tried to keep the characters of other books to a minimum and just borrow the world their in. It's a work-in-progress and I hope to have time to get back to it. What I have is only a fraction of the full story, but I hope it's enjoyable and makes people laugh. There it is. Hope they're not too terrible.

I actual can't wait to read these. I'm not a fan of fan fiction unless I know the authors, so this totally works for me.

I don't mind fan fiction. It's a good outlet if you have a character but no world or nothing for him/her to do. I just don't think it's healthy to depend on it. It's also not a good thing when those shameless self insertions turn over ungodly powerful. I can't really say all fan fic writers and fan fics are a terrible plague that needs to be abolished. That would be hypocritical. I don't go out of my way to read them, but if someone is like "here read this" I won't turn it away unless I'm not into the fandom it's from.
