I got my car fixed. Does that count as inane enough?

My cat has refused to do it since I made this post. Perhaps I overstepped my bounds by daring to suggest that a cat would ever do something so base as performing a trick.

Well like they say; Dogs have owners, Cats have staff. Perhaps it was doing it just to amuse itself by tricking you into thinking it would perform tricks... lol

Context: My dad just joined Facebook a couple weeks ago and is at the stage where he constantly tries to chat with me and is always posting stuff to my timeline. We were talking about my sister, who caused my dad to stop following her because of some weird stuff she posted on his timeline. He knows I hate spiders, but posted one anyway and then Facebook decided that it wouldn't let me remove it. It was not a happy day. Apparently finding out about this really made his day.

I am SO tempted to post the creepiest spider picture I can find. But I will refrain, given the fact that you have the power to ban me XD

You know, my daughter says octopi are spiders of the sea...
Edit: Also doesn't make much sense cause my octopus picture is not my avatar here yet.

Except they aren't. Sure, they share a similar amount of appendages, have a penchant for stealth, are sometimes venomous, and have sharp bits near (for) their mouths, but the octopus is far less creepy, far cooler, way smarter, and is less likely to surprise me when I'm trying to relax in the living room--though I suppose both are as likely to surprise me as I take a leak.
